Curve 4.2.2 working well with 16GB card?

Guys

According to this page, v4.2.2.163 which I'm running should only support 4gb microsd cards. However, I put in a new 16gb sandisk microsd and under media card, it shows full capacity. I haven't tried copying 16gb of music over and seeing if it all works but what do you guys think?
