9700 sync with Google Calendar

Hello, folks

im a BB newbie and after searching this board for a while, decided to finally post and hopefully get some needed help.

Im trying to sync my 9700 with Google Calendar using Google sync. My google calendar has two calendars in it, "personal" and "school". I am able to get them both on the device, but Im not able to add events from the device to the Web.

"Add new handheld events to..." option has "personal" in it, but still no success.

Does anyone has an idea?

Thank you very much in advance!

Are your callendars associated with 2 different email addresses?

I'm not sure if you'll be able to do what you want. Can you combine them?

yes, of course. I have two sub-calendars that are divided by topics

Best bet is probably to get Google Sync and disable the BBerry synchronization. With the actual Google Sync you can choose which calendars to sync.

Go to http://m.google.com/sync to download it.

I tried to get Google Sync to work satisfactorily. Note it is a BETA!!

In the end I found so many probs like endless duplications.

Now I use goosync.com which works just fine. You sadly need two apps but full instructions are given to try it all out.

Support has been fine also but you do need to pay.

Definitely worth the small money IMHO.
