Where are Documents?

I downloaded a document, and now I can't find it. Where do the Documents go after you've downloaded them?

on my device, under applications, file manager I can see both media card and device memory...the paths are /media card/blackberry documents and /device memory/home/user documents? Is the doc in neither location?
