Is it continually locked or intermittent? Also hopefully you have attempted a battery reset....

Other than a first doing a battery reset, keeping it in your pocket without a carrier can allow lint to get into the keys and cause problems. Do a search for trackball cleaning and see if it helps but do the battery reset first. Replacing the keypad is possible but tricky. There are a few videos on the internet to help. If you do decide to do the repairs yourself be sure to get parts for your exact model.

Did it get wet?

"is not fall or splash.". Sounds like dirt or dust from carrying the BB in a pocket unprotected. Might need a good cleaning.

Wet could be from sweat or a damp pocket.

Loosing the keypad, and trackball at the same time sounds an awful lot like some kind of damage occurred while in the pocket. Hit against something, etc.

I've had this happen to me, it's just that you don't see it happening.

Re: 8900 keypad didn't response

I have 2 2-year-old blackberry 8900 and they all encountered this problem recently - no response from keyboard or trackball. My solution worked for both of them. Just put the device away and let the battery dry out totally, it took about 2 or 3 days and then recharge the device, and everything comes back to normal.
