MP3 Ringtone on 8700

I have tried everything everyone has suggested on here to no avail. I have 2 MP3s that I have tried encoding at multiple different recommended settings from here, and nothing is working. My BB will reset when I tried to play them now. I have downloaded several MP3 tones that work fine.
