How to know from ServiceBook: the TCPIP/Carrier APN?

Question is that if I could, through a program, know the Career APN, I could set a custom APN that is provided, or otherwise warn the user that a wrong SIM is inserted.

Re: How to know from ServiceBook: the TCPIP/Carrier APN

Revision:
I can still show the error message with correct settings when the connection fails.
User is to know that the APN is to be set manually and there is correct SIM to be inserted.
As this could be done using program in Android, this is done manually in Blackberry OS.
Thanks

You can get APN string from servicebook?
This is possible.
In class ServiceRecord is method:
getAPN()
"Retrievs this record's associated access point name."
