Error 907 Invalid JAR
I hosted COD and JAD on my webserver.
But, while OTA the download fails with this error: 907 Invalid Jar |
same problem here.
Workaround to get it installed is to change browser content type to WML only, download and install the jad file and then set the content type back to WML & HTML. enjoy |
I wish this had asked this here last night when I tried to install a few new themes on my 7105t last night but I got it. Thanks anyway. I'll remember this the next time.

hi,
If your COD file is more than 54KB, you have to divide cod using Winzip... and map this information in JAD file. Upload all extracted COD file and JAD file in your server...now you can download.... |
I could able to convert my JAR file into COD
After that I loaded COD file to my BlackBerry 7100 G using USB data cable Can anyone know how to execute / launch it. ? I want to launch that game It is a game infact |
I have hosted my COD and JAD files in our company intranet webserver

I have several Dependencies modules: "RIM-COD-Module-Dependencies: net_rim_cldc,net_rim_os,com_palmosters_common_data store RIM-COD-Size-1: 76140 RIM-COD-URL-1: com_palmosters_common_datastore.cod" file com_itrezzo_common_datastore.cod > 70kb What I must do? What changes I must do after ziped file com_palmosters_common_datastore.cod? |
Had this problem too. After rebuilding and resigning the problem went away.
My thoughts: jad has a hash for cod filesize, if cod filesize was changed, it considers it invalid. Make sure file size does not change after signing |
just delete all lines with a "-1" in the jad-file, works fine here.
|
Which lines are to be deleted? Is it supposed to fix 907 jar error or 907 COD error?
Here is my jar: Manifest-Version: 1.0 MIDlet-Version: 1.0.beta MIDlet-Jar-Size: 216562 MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.1 MIDlet-Jar-URL: BB_Info.jar RIM-COD-Module-Dependencies: net_rim_cldc,net_rim_bb_framework_api,net_rim_bbap i_mailv2 RIM-MIDlet-Flags-2: 3 RIM-MIDlet-Flags-1: 0 RIM-COD-Module-Name: BB_Info MIDlet-Name: BB_Info RIM-COD-Size: 56580 RIM-COD-Creation-Time: 1168377063 MIDlet-2: ,,icon MIDlet-1: BB_Info,p1.png, RIM-COD-URL: BB_Info.cod RIM-COD-SHA1: e7 eb 93 24 b0 94 98 0c fd ae cc 2c c6 89 e6 5c 6f d0 5c 5d MicroEdition-Profile: MIDP-2.0 MIDlet-Vendor: None |
if you are hosting them, you need to make sure your iis settings have the mime values associated with the jad and cod files.
