ENTERPRISE ACTIVATION + more!

What is the purpose of this, and can I remove it from the menu??

Also, is there any way to hide icons from the menu until I move the trackwheel?

AND I SEEM TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE PHONE CONSTANTLY RESETTING AND FREEZING!!! I REQUESTED A HANDSET EXCHANGE FROM T MOBILE! IS THIS WISE? AND HOW CAN I PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING WHEN I RECIEVE THE NEW 7100?

Someone please answer this!!! Greatly appreciated!!!

Click on Search at the top. Type in "enterprise activation" (w/o the " ") and search. I'm sure that you will find topics in the results, even some dated TODAY.

There are no conditional hides, if thats what you mean (move your trackwheel and they appear). There is an option for a standby screen, but I have yet to hear anyone actually having that documented feature on any 7100 series handset.

Upgrade to the OS4.0, if you haven't already. If you have upgraded to TMO's 4.0.0.198 version, then try Cingular or Rogers' 4.0.0.219. If you need help in doing this (for TMO), there are HOWTO posts on upgrading or reinstalling the handheld OS. If you you want to upgrade to the latest versions of the software (from Cingular or Rogers), then do a search on here for vendor.xml and it should tell you the extra steps to take in order to accomplish a cross-provider OS upgrade.

From the main menu, you CAN hold down the ALT key, which brings up a menu including "Hide application" but it is not conditional - it just hides it.

Try it. After you hide something you can unhide it, or show all icons.

What do you mean by not conditional?

I think he's looking for a screensaver-type "hiding" of the icons. Atleast, from his wording, thats what I'm assuming.
