Sounds like something went amiss... Give this a try:
How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ Kris |
how do I the reinstall all the applications in the blackberry
|
You will need to reinstall all aftermarket application... The above will reset the Blackberry to factory and will install all the needed applications as it came in the box...

555--have you tried pulling the battery a minute and letting it reboot? Does it still keep doing the restart dance?
If you could get it running long enough to backup, it would be good for having all those applications on the backup. |
I tried taking out the battery but it does not help
meanwhile the JM_cmdr does not connect to my bb I tried doing it thru command promp but it cand find the research in motion folder |
|
but step #3 the promp tye doesnt detect a folder named research in motion
From C:\ prompt type: cd Program Files cd Common Files cd Research In Motion cd AppLoader |
Do you have the Handheld OS AND Desktop Manager software installed on the PC?
|
only dektop manager
where do I get handheld OS |
There is a link within the FAQ (step 2) or you can go here and select your carrier
BlackBerry Operating System Downloads - BlackBerryFAQ |
I have them, its a hidden folder that command promp doesnt detect
|
Nope, not a hidden folder... You must be doing something wrong in the instructions....
You can check from the PC by using Windows Explorer and navigating to same folder. Are you by chance using Vista? If so I have NO clue how, why, and where Vista operates... |
when I go thru windows explorer I cant find it but when I make a search and I include hidden folders then it finds it
|
I see the problem
Its in the "windows" folder |
Should be in Program Files...... Did you get it to connect and wipe?? Sorry, I had to run my father who was visiting to the airport....
