'Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException'!

This is the error message I get when trying to save a new contact on my 8100.

It does actually save the details and I wonder if it is connected with my Intellisync issue I currently have? (The error message I get here is 'Unable to write or update application data' when I try and perform a sync?)

Help!

Battery!

:smile: Although I have no idea what was causing the issue it's now sorted!

I removed/re-installed the battery... probably something I should have tried before!

Intellisync is now working too!

:-) Battery pulls can solve probably between 80-90% of strange, unexplained issues.

Often occurs when a program can't find the database or a menu item. I see you fixed it though.
