Have I bought the wrong gps software for my 8300?
 

HI All,
I have only had my Blackberry 8300 for two weeks and decided to buy a gps in order to to use the blackberry as a sat nav. I purchased a Co Pilot 6 Pocket PC maps of UK through Amazon. When I opened it today it said that ony windows based units work with this softwear. What operating system does blackberry work on and should I just sell the Co Pilot on e-bay and start again.

CoPilot "PocketPC" maps only works on devices with "PocketPC" on them. PocketPC is windows based.

It won't work on the BB. The BB has it's own OS and you have to buy software made for the BB. It's java based and there are lots of apps out there.
