probably because its a digital and not optical zoom. other phones i have had worked the same way. at the highest resolution you could not zoom more then 2X or at all

this happens to me all the time... if i get a vm without the phone ringing alot of times my VM # changes to a long string and i can't dial VM.. even if i dial my # in the phone... it always tries...
