Apparently, Scottrade shut down their mobile website. I personally logged into it and was able to view my account. Today, I log in it and the web page suggests going to their regular website.

Yes, 1XEV is the 3G signal. You won't able to do send/receive while you're on the phone mainly, current CDMA, doesn't support data and voice simultaneously/concurrently.

Yes, it does use GPS satellite. I don't think it use a lot of battery. So far, it works well on my storm. One thing I won't buy it cuz Garmin doesn't allow to transfer license to other BB device...

I have it but I don't think it works well with touch yet. It is hard to use it now. It is only beta so hopefully when it rolls out a full version it will work well with storm. Speed is amazing !

I have tested. Verizon Storm 9530 can't do voice and data simultaneously on Verizon CDMA network. This is not good considering AT&T has this feature over iPhone and Bold.
