Unlimited texting is 19.99 for text or MMS...

When I need it on and it isn't I just put my finger over the led indicator and the keyboard lights right up. I am guessing that is where the light sensor is located. Try that and see if it helps out....

I dont understand all of this locking and unlocking. Just hold the mute key on the top of the curve for a few seconds, and it locks the whole unit down without a password.

Delete the MMS Transport and the MMS Client by going to:

Settings > Options > Advanced Options > Service Books...
