If you unlock the phone it will unlock the sim capability. You will be able to use it on any network depending on the sim in the phone. Until then you should see an invalid sim message on the phone.

I am using the 7100T unlocked on the AT&T network. I had to make 3 calls to get them to add the package properly. Once you make sure that is done. Re-register your Host routing table.
