Anyone know if the 8830 will support MS Exchangce ActiveSync even if a third party add on is required on the device?

Sharing issue

I'm having difficulty sharing out the app folder. I do software configurations however they are not currently assigned. I am not sure if just having software configurations would stop this service...

On idea is to make sure the SQL box is not serving out any other DB's. If it is....try dedicating the cache within SQL for the BES db. Connectivity is another area of concern. Do you have a fiber...

Ok....this is finally working....Issue.....wrong SQL port number. Make sure you go into SQL and check the port number....my BES had 1433 listed when in fact it was a different port. Don't rely on...

Do you mean push the actual msi to the client side so the dreaded http 500 error is not displayed when trying to navigate to the box where Web Desktop Manager is installed?

Still working on resolving the issue above....the default SQL port of 1433 comes up during installation....which is what we use for the actual BES production box. Any other ideas as to why this is...

My assumption (without setting BerryStats up) is that someone who is granted privileges within BES (such as help desk) to perform administration duties can administer devices without authenticating...
