OZ Instant Messenger?

Hello, i have an 8310 with AT&T. I want to get OZ IM, but i don't have a data plan. I do however have unlimited text messaging. Will OZ IM use data or text messaging for the usage? Thanks.

No nothing that will access any of them except for my ringtones my phone uses them. Oh and eOffice gets files from my documents that i have in there. Could that be it? My blackberry didnt restart...
