thats my prob. just wanna turn off data and leave wifi on, whilst being able to make calls and sms. sorta miffed that BB would skip over something so trivial that other smartphones do effortlessly.

thanks for the reply. i don't have a data plan, but can still access the internet without wifi which i don't want. is there simply no way to block mobile internet data services on a BB without losing...

i got one of these today for my missus on an O2 UK contract, with no data bolt on. no mobile data needed as (a) o2 edge in my area is dire (b) she's not into the messenger stuff (c) will be on wifi...
