I needed to ensure the keypad remained locked when in the holster, and remained so when taken out - so yes it was a keyboard lock issue.

I admit it does seem strange but it works for me.
Now when I remove my phone from its holster (one with internal magnet) it remains locked. And in the process I no longer accidently activate any...

The solution is as follows:-
Lock your device when you insert it in the holster
1.On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
2.Click Password.
3.Change the Lock Handheld Upon...

Stop holster un-lock
I have a 8520, how do I stop the phone unlocking when I remove it from the case. I seem to cancel calls or switch off the phone when removing from the case. It's driving me crazy.
