Hmm.. ok cool... I just check again with my old carrier who assured me the old BIS was canceled. And i assume the phone is in fact unlocked because I was able to put the new sim in successfully, or...

Yes im sure of both those things, but calling digicel wont work because they were dumbfounded by the error message in the store. I dont know if there is anyway to reset within the phone the data...

Digicel is GSM, I specifically canceled the BIS and the error message when activating the BIS is "Cannot activate selected plan. Your device is incompatible with this service."
