I am happy to report that it is working perfectly...

I am happy to report that it is working perfectly on both devices now.. The problem with the default db not opening mysteriously dissapeared and the failed backups via desktop manager are now working...

KDB file is on the SD card. Will try to move it...

KDB file is on the SD card. Will try to move it onto the device and get back to you.
FYI - I am not using , nor have I installed, the add-in to sync.

I finally got it working by Wiping my device and...

I finally got it working by Wiping my device and reloading.. All good on that front..

HOWEVER - on both of my devices (Bold and 8900) - neither of them can be backed up via Desktop Manager (v4.7)....
