You lose .6 GB on an 8 GB card, so 1.2 GB on a 16...

You lose .6 GB on an 8 GB card, so 1.2 GB on a 16 GB card seems normal, unfortunately. I have a 16 GB card on 4.5.0.97 on my Pearl and also show 14.8 "Total Space" after formatting by the Pearl.
