update - won't be an 8930. We'll be getting the 9630 to replace the 8830 and 8330. Haven't heard anything about a CDMA 8900 model since starting this thread.

huh? the last two units released by vzw are the storm, which had no predecessor, and the curve, which took over a year to release after the gsm curve was out. I would love to see the 8900 on vzw...
