So I drove from Boston to New York today... my BB was switching from 1XEV to 1x to 1X all day long... which is probably why my battery was down 2 bars by 8pm with minimal usage throughout the day......

Both techs I talked to last night while upgrading my firmware said the broadband access is free. NO CHARGE. I also did not have to tell them any of the codes... they did what they had to do on...
