Ok. So it is the next day. Rebooted during the night but the default OS was doing that so I attribute it to something 3rd party.
BUT, the battery life is great and the SMS bug is gone!!

I wiped. Now each time I try and load new system my bold reboots when the apploader trys to connect. The boot screen is still BB OS 5.0 splash....

Since it is not recognizing my bold I did several uninstall. Including trolling through everything and seemingly deleting everything yet every time I reinstall the DM recognizes a previous install....
