Post an update when you get the chance.....would like to know what repair shop tells you. Checkout the forum sponsors too....one of them does repairs, I believe, and it pays to compare.

BlackBerrys have been very durable in my experience, but (1) there is a limit to what anything will take and (2) sometimes something can take just the right hit at the right place in the right way...
