Interesting anomaly...I bought a 7290 recently, and set up outlook and the BB to play nicely together...with Biz Contact manager installed...

Less than two weeks later, I couldn't get it to sync,...

Which answer do you need? If the key store issue is the one, when you upgrade, the new op sys in the phone will ask you for a new key store password.

I have answered the first question, and solved it by deleting the vendor.xml file from my computer...That means the second question is moot.

Any thoughts on the third question?

I use cingular...

I have a 7290 version of Desktop software version 4.0...and that software shows two versions of handheld...
