Nextel does not use an APN

An APN is required for operation on GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks, but not on CDMA or iDEN.

Nextel does not need an APN

A BlackBerry on the Nextel network does not need you to send an APN. APN is more of a GSM/GPRS/EDGE requirement.
