I just downloaded the files mshipek provided for aim and then the service books as well and got it working.

The way to install the service books is to do a restore and choose the servicebooks.ipd...

I have turned off the network and turned it back on and it has a signal breifly but then says sos. The only thing that seems to help is to do a battery pull.
