wabbit, i seriously doubt you can turn off the government mandated gps tracking on any modern phone. Generally the "off" position only prevents you from getting access.

All recent phones have tracking via their built in GPS. Try and buy a phone without it. Try finding a way of turning it off. All landline switches have government required phone bug functions. This...
