I'll second the Motorola S9 for wireless bluetooth stereo. For wired headset, I found that the Seidio adapter worked great.

I have just the opposite experience. I have BIS and use it only with my Google Apps Domain mail hosting. The mail almost always comes through within 10 seconds of it being sent. I'm on an 8830...
