if there is anything wrong with the device you get, contact customer care right away. the replacement device you get may be a refurb, they are usually good replacements, T-Mobile checks them out...

that is correct, if you have the HotSpot @Home...

that is correct,
if you have the HotSpot @Home add on to your plan, any time you INITIATE a call on UMA those calls are unlimited.
it works in reverse too, if you initiate a call on the towers...
