Did you notice this in the original post?
"NOTE: Download links removed from US Cellular's site as of 9/5/08."
What it actually means is "download link has been changed back to OS v4.3 as of 9/5/08."
I googled around and finally found a download of 4.5.0.66. It took a while because there have been lots of download links posted that are now dead.
I have installed .66 and it is working. But, I have now learned that upgrading the OS kills my BES connection, so I just kicked off a Reactivation and am waiting for that to finish before I can really tell anything.
Doh! It just finished. Yaaay! I'm back to getting my email!
