To perform a web-based BlackBerry Device Software upgrade, the following system requirements must be met:

• BlackBerry smartphone must have at least 32 MB of flash memory
• BlackBerry smartphone must be able to support BlackBerry Device Software 4.5 or later. For example, BlackBerry® 8700 smartphone, BlackBerry® 8800 series, BlackBerry® Pearlxxx8482; 8100 Series, or BlackBerry® Curvexxx8482; 8300 Series
• Computer must be running Windows® 2000 or later
• Computer must have an available USB port
• Computer must be running Windows® Internet Explorer® 6 or 7

Note: BlackBerry smartphones that are associated with a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server or with BlackBerry® Professional Software cannot perform web-based BlackBerry Device Software upgrades
