I have Live Search up and running on my Rogers branded 8900.

The only problem I ran into when installing was that voice recognition would crash the app, but I found that the app permissions don't get correctly adjusted at installation and you need to change Interactions to Allow all.

What exactly is happening when you try to open the app? Does it load at all? Are you sure you downloaded the one for OS version 4.2 and above?

Could always try to delete the app and re-download it, maybe something got corrupted when you downloaded it the first time. Just a thought.
