Thanks to jeckerlin for the initial post and everyone after for their contributions. I still struggled for longer than I would have like getting Eclipse, KSoap and the BB to play nice. I have since summarized my experience going from a clean machine to getting KSoap up and running on the device. I hope this helps someone else.
