May I ask why it is required?
If it is "dry" (which mine may or may not be) what would keep it from working?
I googled "Blackberry Water Damage" and I read multiple threads about baking it at low temp. And it seemed to have worked. Its probably no different then leaving it outside in this texas weather for a few hours. I already have a brand new 8310, it was covered by insurence. But I really would like to get my address book from my previous phone. Doesnt really matter to me if the screen works or not, I just need it to be read by USB.
