I recommend a few that haven't been mentioned yet.
1. ShrinkIt -- This app resizes photos. It prompts you when you email them, too, which is handy when you want to send a smaller version to someone's email account, but keep the larger one.
2. Unyverse -- This is a "cloud" program that syncs notes and has several other features, including a quick wikipedia lookup, bare-bones RSS, etc.
3. Google sync -- syncs contacts and calendar wirelessly, on a daily basis.
4. Gokivo -- a navigation program that is still free from App World.
5. Stitcher -- collects and plays various podcasts and other audio. I like getting quick CNN news updates, the "Car Talk" show, and Bill Maher's show.
Edit: I don't think you really need QuickPull on the 8900, since alt-shift-del works fine for reset--unless you want scheduled resets.
