Hi,

I'm trying to manually enter the PIN & IMEI of my 9700 that I purchased off of craigslist. Currently I'm on Pay&Talk which means PayAsYouGo so no data on smartphones is capable.

However the site states that it cannot provisioning the BB (before even selecting an ID/pw/email address) until I generate a new HRT from the device. Should this NOT be a requirement since the PIN & IMEI is valid in the database already?

(For those wondering what I'm trying to accomplish is A> Find out the PIN is released, B> check to see if I can send some of Telus' Service Books to my BB since I opted on Pay&Talk for mobile web. I'm unsure if the APN would support it on Pay&Talk).

Any ideas? Anyone have access for to check for me please?
