hey guys 3 quick questions/issues. any help appreciated, thanks

1. When im done downloading an app, why does i always find it in the instant messenger folder? shouldnt it be in the downloads folder already?

2. besides how slow the phone chargers while the usb cable is plugged in, it prompts me if i want to turn on Mass Storage Mode? what exactly is that?

3. knowing that we cant delete them from our phone, are all Virtual Preload(VPL) apps free that come with our phone? so far ive heard TeleNav GPS Navigator & PrimeTime2Go charge for monthly fees... what about the rest?
