IMO, QuickPull has never been consistent enough to replace "the three finger salute". Additionally, QuickPull always took substantial time to execute a reboot.
As far as being able "to coordinate (
the three finger salute) in all situations on the small keyboard", simply hold the ALT key down with your left thumb and then simultaneously hit the right CAPS and DEL keys with your right index and middle fingers -- works every time for me.
