Makes sense. Only Yahoo's partnership with RIM is providing real time delivery at this time. I did read an article (Apr. 6 2006 interview w/RIM CEO) that the BIS 2.0 implementation with Yahoo is using IMAP. There was also mention about more BIS features in the September time frame. It was unclear as to what will/would be implemented.
