Yes, I had problems getting my 7290 registered on BWC because the unit had been previously used on Cingular. The awesome tech at my local store (who had also taken care of migrating our whole family to Cingular from ATT and fixed all of the billing issues) called me back after letting him know about the issue, and put me on a three way call with RIM. They fixed the problem in a couple minutes.
