tdawg00, have you tried using a different router? Does the router you have now have the latest firmware loaded onto it? One of the troubleshooting steps on that error per the Wi-Fi FAQ is to powercycle the router.

I holds the UMA connection for 10 mins and then back to EDGE. If I have to call someone via UMA I can power cycle my wifi radio and it will work until I hang up for at least 10 mios
I have the TMOBILE branded Linksys router. I have power cycled my phone and my router 6 times today well the router 6 time and 2 reboots of my phone and it stills looses connection to UMA
