just thought i'd start a thread to collect information on everyone's wifi/uma status...

if you have an 8320 or an 8820... please reply as i think it will me as well as others who are having difficulty with this...

please fill in the following details...

- blackberry model and firmware
- router and firmware
- paying for tmo hotspot @home?
- wifi/uma working successfully?
- wifi/uma working at starbucks/borders?
- using bluetooth at the same time?
- did you use the device change wizard?
- additional details?

here's my profile...
- blackberry model and firmware : 8320 v4.2.2.180
- router and firmware - USROBOTICS USR8054 v1.67
- paying for tmo hotspot @home? NO
- wifi/uma working successfully? NO
- wifi/uma working at starbucks/borders? YES, BUT THEN IT ASKS ME TO SIGN UP- using bluetooth at the same time? NO
- did you use the device change wizard? YES, THEN RELOADED NEW FIRMWARE V4.2.2.180
- additional details?
- connects at home successfully only when all security is disabled
- yellow icon "-" displays when connected through WEP/WPK security
- DHCP enabled
- QoS not available on router (not sure if that's important)

can people chime in and give their status? if you don't know the answer, just leave blank... i'm looking mainly to see what router has been successful...
