Can someone take the source code from BBweather/BBToday and leverage the
http://www.simprit.com/miniexcel/support_faq_bb.html link to make it possible for people to set thier apn settings in the BBweather setup? I have a 7290 and cingular and the only way to get an internet connection work is to use the following settings.
Cingular (USA)
GPRS APN: blackberry.net
WAP gateway IP: 66.209.11.61
WAP gateway port: 9203
Any program that will let me set these on the options page I can connect to the internet (wireless18 ). Any program that does not (BBWeather, BBToday, Verichat) I cannot connect to the internet.
Yes I have called Cingular to add WIX, yes I have tried every possible combination of TCP settings supplied by Rejhon on the other faq. Please do not waste your/my time posting those responses, only reply if you can help with changing and recompiling the source code. I'm going to give it a shot but I know I do not have a way to sign the code and I'd rather not have to pay the $100 to do so.
