The BB is a very secure device compaired to almost any other Cell / Messaging device. If you want windows and dont have any need for high security then stay with the Win unit. The setup for a BB does not need a BES. You can get service with a BIS server and direct your email to it. Before desiding, read some posts here and you will see infor that may help you pick.
