I have both a T-Mo Pearl (8100) and a Q7. I have had no problems with Bluetooth connectivity even though I've upgraded the OS multiple times to different carriers' OS.

Have you verified that the Q7's BT module is listed in your Bluetooth devices? Is it set as Trusted?

The Q7 module is listed as "Audi UHV 9504" and I'm running OS 4.2.1.66 on my pearl.
