I'm coming from a BB 8120 and have the alarm and ring tones set on the 8900 just as I had them on the 8120. Both ring with a much slower frequency than on the 8120.

Phone - If I set the phone to Vibrate+Tone, (My preference) it vibrates, rings, vibrates, rings, etc. On the 8120, it would vibrate then segue to ringing.

Alarm - Set to Tone+Vibrate with Alarm_Quickbell. It'll vibrate, then cycle the alarm once, then vibrate and so on. The 8120 would vibrate, then segue to the alarm and ring with a higher frequency than on the 8900. Something like 10 times with a short break, then 10 times again until I turned it off or hit snooze.

Is this normal for this OS? (4.6.1.114 As received by T-Mobile) Am I missing something? Is this a bug? Can it be fixed by updating the OS? Should I just suck it up and stop whining? (Don’t answer that last one)
