Yeah, FC6 on a dell inspiron 8600. Under the battery shows made in mexico too.

I wonder if it would help to have connected this phone to a Windows desktop at some point? I have attempted to connect it to a vmware session but it didn't work out... didn't like the device(s) it saw. But I recall when I connected my nokia to a machine running macosx, an apple isync applet was pushed to the nokia 6600 and it became a service available for browsing. So I wonder if having connected the phone to a windows PC with the desktop software installed would push the needed modem stuff to the phone?

Okay, I read elsewhere that the missing services may have something to do with IT policy assigned by my BES. Since I'm the administrator of the BES, I can make changes to IT policy. I'll keep all interested advised of my findings.

BTW, how can I get my own icon/avatar set up?
